Daytime Mindfulness Introduction and Taster Session , The Willow Centre, Tuesday, 13. November 2018

Come and learn the history and science behind mindfulness.  You will discover how mindfulness came about, the research about how it can make a difference to your health and wellbeing and different ways to learn mindfulness either with books, apps and websites, links through the NHS or joining groups within Norwich.  There will also be a 10 minute mindfulness practice sitting in chairs to have a chance to experience it and ask questions.  It is taught by Debbie Larson, an occupational therapist working in healthcare teaching mindfulness to people with injuries, and founder of Simply Mindfulness Norwich.  
If you are curious about mindfulness but don't know where to start, someone who is considering taking a course but not quite sure or if you have taken a mindfulness course and would like the learn more, this session is for you.
