Cross sector dinner: The Changing **** of Coventry City Centre, Ramada Hotel and Suites, Tuesday, 12. February 2019

Coventry city centre is enjoying a boom time.  From a fresh residential offer and student housing to an increased retail provision and exciting new leisure facilities, the investment is flowing in.   Coventry University continues to be a key driver behind the changes.   Primarily based in the city centre, the University is one of the largest employers with c4,000 staff; having c30,000 students and further campus investments in the pipeline means its impact cannot be understated.
The evening’s discussion will be shaped by two people who are helping to drive the changes.  Rob Talliss is Estates Director at Coventry University who will lead on the infrastructure aspects of investment, regeneration and redevelopment in the city centre.   Trish Willetts, Director of Coventry BID will focus on the impact of the city's burgeoning retail, hospitality and leisure offer.
The evening will begin with a brief informal scene setting before being opened to a round table discussion, held according to the Chatham House Rule.
Places are limited and available on a first come, first served basis.   It will take place over a three-course meal in a private room at the Ramada Hotel in central Coventry. The cost for members is subsidised by Coventry & Warwickshire First, so attendance is just £12.50. The charge for non-members is £50.
