This is a free one-day course delivered by THT Norfolk for all practitioners promoting sexual health in Norfolk.


Aim:




An introduction to contraception and reproduction for non-clinicians 




Outcomes: (participant should be able to)



Recognise the types of contraception available


Identify what influences the contraceptive choices people make


Explain dis/advantages of the most commonly used forms of contraception


List local processes for accessing a termination


State where to access contraceptive services in Norfolk


Explain the role of Emergency Hormonal Contraception (EHC)



Lunch is not provided, although tea and coffee are available and there are shops nearby. Free parking is available on site . Please follow the signs the the FIELD PARKING. The Training Lounge is located in a seperate building at the rear of the main Independence Matters building. Please arrive from 9:45 to sign-in.
