Community Textiles Recycling Workshop, Urban Room, Saturday, 12. December 2020

Our Community Workshop is open to everyone to attend. Come and join our friendly group.
We recycle preloved materials into new crafts, gifts and homeware. This is a great introduction to recycling with loads of ideas always being passed about.
Want to get creative but don't know how to sew? Join us and we will teach you, there are also other jobs to be done.
We usually have a few projects on the go that you can join in with, alternatively you may have your own project that you need some help with. You may just want a little company whilst working on your project - that's fine too, you will get a friendly welcome.
There is access for disabled people.
Our community workshops are free to attend, although donations are always welcome, particularly if you're making something to take home.
We sell what we make to contribute to the costs of the project and also have funding from the Coop Local Cause Fund.
Let us know you are coming by booking a free ticket.
We are easily accessible by public transport. We are 1 minute from the Train & Tram Station and buses to West Bridgford stop nearly outside.
The closest car park is Castle Car Park on Canal Street - there are 4 hours free for Blue Badge holders. Up to 4 hours is £4.50. Alternatively, arrive after 10am at the Station car park and park all day for £5.
If you have any questions feel free to get in touch.
