Community Networking & Disco Soup (Edinburgh), The Crannie, Thursday, 10. October 2019

Have you thought about using surplus food but don't know where to start? Are you already using surplus food and want to connect with others who are interested in food and communities? Or would you just like to hear more and enjoy a couple of hours of good company?
Join us for a Disco Soup event at this exciting new community space in Edinburgh's Old Town. Help us explore one of the ways surplus food (on this occasion provided by Fare Share) can be used to help bring people together. Be prepared to get stuck in - we'll be cooking, eating, and clearing up optional!
We are aiming for this to be a zero waste event, so we invite you to bring a container to take home any excess food. Plus, if you have a reusable cup or water bottle, why not bring that along to use as well!
The Crannie is a brand new space for the Edinburgh Old Town community.
FareShare is a national UK network redistributing surplus food from producers and suppliers to not-for-profit organisations.
