BPR Claims Substantiation Workshop, Bredbury Hall Hotel, Thursday, 13. June 2019

Following the success of last year’s two dates, this is another opportunity to take advantage of this important and popular course. The course was well received, with delegates commenting on the in-depth knowledge of the tutor and the use of practical examples during the course as being particularly beneficial.
WHY ATTEND
In 2018 there were some significant deadlines relating to dossiers for product authorisations under the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR). The substantiation of efficacy claims made for biocidal products forms a major part of any submission. The day will help prepare those involved with building biocidal product dossiers to understand and satisfy the needs for claims substantiation.
COURSE OUTLINE
The course will look at the complex issue of evidencing the claims made for biocidal products. It will focus on the guidance available from sources such as ECHA and the European Commission and will consider the claims made, and the depth of proof required to substantiate them. It will also look at how all this fits together in the relevant section of an IUCLID 6 dossier submission.
WHO WILL BENEFIT
Those active in the biocidal products sector who will be involved in producing evidence for claims substantiation.
The course tutor is David Ashworth. David is an experienced industry professional who has worked for major players in the chemical market sector. He has experience of all aspects of the development, marketing and use of biocidal products including in disinfection, oilfields, preservation and water/paper industries.
BACS members are offered priority booking with attendance limited to 12 delegates to ensure that the course is interactive. Attendees will receive an electronic copy of the course material.
