This day course is suitable for anyone at any level of experience to have some fun with bread dough and find out the basics of bagel making

You will get plenty of practice at shaping, be able to compare your bread boiled and not boiled before baking (did you know that bagels were boiled! before they are baked?) and choose from a range of varieties to understand how different additions to the dough can affect yeast requirements and water content.
You will also get an opportunity to find out more about different types of wheat, the history of bagels and other Jewish heritage breads.
All the equipment you need will be provided as well as a Tower of Bagel notebook for you to use and take away which also incudes the basic bagel recipe. You will also take away a bag of bagels to share with your friends.
A vegetarian and vegan lunch will be provided and is included in the price along with tea and coffee.

Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Please note: this is not suitable for children under 12. Children under 16 must be accomapnied by an *****
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Bicycle parking is available. 
A number of different buses go up London Road. Please look at South Yorkshire Travel to plan your journey
There is limited parking outside the venue for cars. 
What should I bring into the event?
All equipment you need will be provided. Bring curiosity and fun. 
What should i wear?
Please make sure you wear flat covered shoes and sensible clothing (short sleeves and layers are good).

What if i have an allergy?
This course will not be suitable for people who allergic to wheat or wheat products.
If there are certain things you cannot or do not wish to eat for lunch i will do my best to pricviude a suitable alternative. Please give details in the space provided when you register.
What if i have a disability?
Please let me know (email as soon as you can if you have a disiability that will require using different techniques or equipment.
What's the refund policy?
Refunds requested more than 30 days in advance of the course will be in full.
Refunds requested between 7 and 29 days in advance will be at 50% of the ticket price (ie will not include the booking fee).
Cancellations requested less than 7 days in advance of the course will not be eligible for any refund. A transfer to an alternative date can however be arranged if space allows.
