Blended Agile Delivery (BAD) brings together agile methodologies to help you answer the above questions.
In our Scrum 2 day course, we will look at how Scrum is used within high performing Delivery teams. Join us as we explore the Scrum Master role within Agile teams and what skills are needed to become a successful Scrum Master. You will leave with a working understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, ready to embrace the servant leader role and empower teams to deliver more for your organization.

Who is it for?
The course is for anyone who:

Has been practising Scrum Mastery and want to sure up your skills, in line with entry-level industry qualifications.
Wants to know more about Scrum in general, even if you don’t want to become a Scrum Master - a great way to learn Scrum is to look at it through the eyes of the Team member responsible for helping the Team understand it.
Is an experienced Scrum Master, who wants to refresh the basics and identify any “bad habits” they have picked up.

What is it?
The course is 2 day training course and covers Scrum as defined by the ​Scrum Guide​ to a foundation level. The format allows attendees to explore both theoretical and pragmatic application of Scrum together in a fun, hands-on way (including ping pong *****), while being able to ask questions of and learn from an experienced Scrum Master.

Do I get certified?
Whilst the course is not affiliated with either of the two certifying bodies, Participants will leave the course having learnt enough to confidently take the formal PSM1 certification exam on Scrum.org.
For those of you who wish to sit the exam to achieve a formal qualification, the afternoon of the second day is allocated to guided revision and the sitting of the exam itself.
As the exam incurs an additional cost (levied by Scrum.Org), tickets can be purchased with or without the optional exam at the time of booking depending on your needs.

Who is the Trainer?
Scott Burgess is a Scrum Master / Agile Coach / Delivery Manager with more than 10 years of experience working in Agile environments. He has worked using various methodology including Scrum, Kanban, GDS and more. Is lunch included in the costs?
Yes... and Breakfast... and we think its pretty good.
We will ensure that there are vegetarian options available on the day, but if you have any additional dietry requirements let us know when you purchase you're ticket and we'll try our best to accomodate.

What's the refund policy?
We appreciate that sometimes you may need change your plans. Refunds are available via eventbrite up to 30 days prior to the event start date. After this please contact the organiser directly.
We reserve the right to reschedule the course dependant on . In this case attendees will be offered the choice of either a place on the rescheduled course or a full refund.
