Art-science workshops: Microscopic Marbling , The Francis Crick Institute, Saturday, 20. October 2018

Inspired by our current exhibition, Deconstructing Patterns, we're running a series of free workshops for families that explore the amazing mix of patterns found in biology.

Experiment with marbling, mark-making and drawing to explore cutting-edge research at the Crick through a fun hands-on workshop.

Join illustrator and mark maker Grace Holliday to delve into cellular layers by using different shapes, formations and colour pallets to create layered frame art works to take home. Meet Crick researchers and discover more about the intricate and beautiful patterns they find in their research.

The workshops will be taking place from, 14:00 - 15:30 on the following dates: 3 August, 10 August, 17 August and 24 August.   This workshop is for all the family, including adults! The workshops are most suitable for families with children aged 7+ and children should be accompanied by a responsible *****.

Places are limited and must be booked in advance via Eventbrite.

Please note that we will also be running workshops during October and booking for this will be opened at a later stage.
