An interdisciplinary research group with prestigious guest scholars welcomes you to this premier aspart of a programme of activity surrounding the Anthropocene Age.
Join us for the  ‘Anthropocene: The Human Epoch’, a documentary critically engaging with the rapidly evolving issues of the current age, and analysing how human-driven activities surrounding capitalist, financial and industrial spheres are inextricably linked to the Earth system and affect the geological fabric.
A cinematic meditation on humanity’s massive reengineering of the planet, Anthropocene: The Human Epoch is a four years in the making feature documentary film from the multiple-award winning team of Jennifer Baichwal, Nicholas de Pencier and Edward Burtynsky; script consulted by Professor Zalasiewicz and Professor Colin.
We are starting at 18 with an introduction of the movie, networking event, followed by a panel discussion moderated by Prof Bruno Latour
