Anglo-Saxon Life, Southend Central Museum, Thursday, 15. August 2019

Learn about Anglo-Saxon life in this highly immersive and engaging session that explores who they were, how they lived, and how they left an impact in the Kingdom of the East Saxons.
Through handling objects and learning the ancient English language, uncover the context in which we then understand the importance of the Prittlewell princely burial chamber. Afterwards, look through original exhibits found alongside the prince, as well as other local archaeological finds from Prittlewell.
